Marketplace Seller Terms (Retailers)
Terms for retailers who list, sell, and fulfill orders through Epepea.
Eligibility and onboarding
- You must have authority to operate the retail business and to enter these terms on behalf of the retailer.
- You must provide accurate business information and keep it updated.
- We may require verification and may suspend onboarding where risk controls require it.
Listings, pricing, and inventory
- Maintain accurate product information (names, variants, packaging, images, and descriptions).
- Maintain accurate pricing, compare-at pricing, promotions, and taxes where applicable.
- Keep stock levels and availability status up to date to avoid cancellations and disputes.
- Only list items you are authorized to sell and that comply with the Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy.
Order acceptance and fulfillment
- Process orders promptly and within retailer service windows.
- Support substitutions and partial fulfillment where enabled by the platform workflow.
- Provide accurate pickup readiness and delivery handoff details.
- Provide proof of fulfillment where required (receipts, packing photos, or confirmation events).
Delivery, pickup, and handoff
- If you offer delivery, you must comply with your delivery policy settings and service coverage areas.
- If using delivery partners, ensure safe handoff and accurate order packaging.
- If offering pickup, ensure pickup instructions and hours are accurate.
Quality standards and customer experience
- Fulfill orders with quality products and correct variants.
- Handle expiry dates, fragile items, and regulated goods appropriately.
- Address customer issues promptly through the platform support and dispute processes.
Fees, payouts, and settlements
- Platform fees may apply and can include delivery-related fees, service fees, or payment processing costs.
- Payout timing may depend on fulfillment completion and dispute/chargeback windows.
- We may place holds or reserves to manage fraud and chargeback risk.
Returns, refunds, and disputes
- You must cooperate with return/refund investigations and provide supporting evidence.
- You may be responsible for refunds in cases of incorrect items, quality failures, or policy violations.
- Chargebacks and payment reversals may result in deductions from payouts where applicable.
Compliance and prohibited items
- Do not list prohibited or restricted items without the required licenses and approvals.
- Comply with applicable consumer protection, labeling, and safety laws.
Termination and enforcement
- We may restrict listings or suspend access for repeated cancellations, abuse, or policy violations.
- We may remove content that violates platform rules or law.
