• If there is a large amount of dirt or stains stuck around the sink, first plug the drain and fill the sink with hot water. Let the hot water in the sink for one hour. This will loosen any dirt or stains. • Drain the water and get ready to rub. • Apply a layer of baking soda on the side of the sink. It is easier to work on one side at a time. • Scrub the surface with baking soda and a scrubbing pad. Baking soda acts as a mild abrasive cleaner. • Add vinegar to the baking soda and continue cleaning. • Rinse the sink thoroughly with clean water. • If there are areas that are stained, clean with an all-purpose cleaner that is safe for your sink’s material Additional tips Want to make your shiny sink? Apply a small amount of oil on a soft cloth and rub the surface. It takes a little elbow grease, but the results are excellent.  As in any cleaning process, try to learn if what you use is good for your sink’s material. Always check the label before using commercial products to ensure that they will not damage the surface of the sink over time. Bleach is a great disinfectant, but can corrode stainless steel sinks. Use with caution.  It is safe to let the vinegar and baking soda into the drain.
